Patriot’s Day and the Boston Marathon

The Third Monday in April is Patriots’ Day in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

If you are looking for something fun to do with the family, consider going to watch the World’s Oldest Marathon- The Boston Marathon has been run since 1897. The course runs through 26 miles 385 yards (42.195 km) of winding roads, following Route 135, Route 16, Route 30 and city streets into the center of Boston, where the official finish line is located at Copley Square, alongside the Boston Public Library.
